Updates: From The Field In Peru
Thank you to those who prayed for this trip. This is a short video of our journey into a village we’ve never been to before. The Lord answered many prayers. Many doors were opened. We had one scheduled house visit with someone we previously met in our town, but God opened so many doors beyond that. I can’t count off the top of my head how many people we were able to speak to about the gospel. Many tracts were taken, several people asked for bibles, plus a few had us in their homes. Needless to say, going into villages and preaching the gospel in the open-air draws a lot of attention.
Without the noise of the city, the sound carries throughout villages and can be heard by many. As opposed to “friendship evangelism”, which is no evangelism at all and is unbiblical, public outdoor preaching immediately leads to gospel conversations that otherwise would not happen. This is from a trip to a new village. We were able to reach what seemed like the whole village, walking 10 km through the day.
Please pray for our family, because we have access and open doors into hundreds of indigenous villages in our region. The only thing that limits us is time and resources. There is such a dire need for true gospel laborers.

What a joy it is to awake unto such news. This dear brother and his family have become very precious unto us. Together with his beloved wife and their two children, they labors tirelessly from day to day to carry the Gospel unto the people of the Andes. Their only seasons of rest seem to be those which sickness itself compels them to take.
I therefore entreat you, by the mercies of God and for the sake of His great name, to bear a part in their labor, both by earnest prayer and by such practical means as the Lord hath placed within your power. Let us remember those who spend themselves in the service of Christ as though we stood beside them in their labors, bearing their burdens with them and seeking the advancement of that same glorious Gospel for which they have given themselves. You can find their information here. Light in the Andes.
