Provisions For The Children

Image
Father has provided us the means to purchase bibles in our pursuit of putting His word in the hands of the children, to be distributed freely, and teach them the habit of opening the scriptures, not just listening to it read to them. To familiarize them with stories from both testaments and show how Christ is pointed at in the old, and fulfilled in the new, and that He can be seen in every story; how Christ is "written in the volume of the book," and inculcate the truths of God by way of catechism questions and answers. The end of every class is great encouragement to us in this work. Each one can recite the 10 commandments at will, but it will require God's grace to give it life in them, to be understood, and eventually lived out. This we thank God for and plead His hand.

If I speak in the eloquence of men and tongues of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.  And if I have a prophet's power, and have knowledge of all secret things; and if I have all faith, by which mountains may be moved from their place, but have not love, I am nothing. And if I give all my goods to the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it is of no profit to me. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3  Modern Christians tend to cling to works, whether they are aware of it or not. Matthew 7.21   You can do all good without loving God. But you cannot love God without doing good to all. You can also claim that the reason for all you do is because you love God. Indeed, Christianity is full of such empty songs and boastings. But loving God prohibits you from choosing w...

Open Doors

The LORD sent us funds to build this small greenhouse in a blank portion of the field beside our house that is wasted and unused space. The goal is to improve the neighborhood, by offering a cheaper food source, and hopefully introduce hydroponic culture to the people. One particular family we have been ministering to can possibly acquire additional income from this. It took us almost two weeks to build on our own (to save labor costs) , and ensure it is sturdy enough to withstand constant heavy downpour. We have yet to see how it holds up against a storm. So far, this is only the beginning of a planned expansion of sorts, to output at the most 500 vegetable heads per week. At least that's what the plan is. But we are still studying the craft. We will also be offering our neighbors free Fire Trees to whoever wants one. I dream of someday walking our roads lined with multi-colored flowering trees. As of late, I have almost 15 fire trees ready to be given away. We also have two  Pala...
