I will get back to writing as soon as I possibly can. It was quite the roller coaster ride this month both here and with our sister church in Taiwan. But the work continues under our King's grace till He returns.

The New Normal

I took my beloved wife on a date to a not so romatic place: a gun range here in Valenzuela, Bulacan. We were both ecstatic with the experience of breaking in my personal piece, as part of our commitment to responsibility in handling the weapon, which from now on will become part of the household. I am also educating the children in safety and handling, and will also take them here to experience it for themselves and become comfortable with it. Owning a weapon is similar to owning a vehicle. You need to be able to handle it responsibly for it to function as intended without causing unnecessary harm to anyone. It is a privilege, not a right to own one, and we are blessed that our government encourages and even assists its citizens by simplifying the process to acquire weapons, unlike in other countries where their governments are trying to disarm its own citizens, even going as far as brutally sacrificing the lives of its children to justify its banning the acquisition of weapons.
