Norzagaray Municipal Hall. Day Four. 14.9057, 121.04224
As we set towards the municipalities of Norzagaray, I confess I was filled with apprehension. It seemed a hard ground for the Word, and I reasoned in my spirit that it would be best for this poor servant to expect no visible fruit, but simply to walk in quiet obedience.

Yet, this morning, the Lord granted me a sweet and solemn sight of His great Authority. I was put in mind of how, at the beginning, He spoke but a word, and even the things that did not yet exist obeyed His voice and came into being. If the very void must obey Him, then surely I can trust His hand, whether the harvest be seen by my eyes or kept in His hidden counsel.
I have been doubtful more times than I can tell, wondering if this errand was truly laid upon me by the Lord, or if I had merely taken up a burden I was never meant to carry. But my eyes have been opened to a clearer truth: it is not a matter of my own 'calling' or standing, but a matter of God fulfilling His own Covenant to gather a people to Himself from every corner of the earth.
Whether I have mistaken my own path or not, I know this much for a certainty: I have been redeemed by the precious blood of Christ, and that alone is my commission. I require no title from the world, nor any blessing from the hands of men, to make His great Name known. If I am His, then it is my simple duty and highest honor to speak of Him.
Our Father, in His great gentleness, saw fit to send souls who remained to listen with much patience unto the very end. My heart was further cheered to speak with two believers from a local congregation, who confessed that the Word spoke to their hearts in a most particular way. They spoke of seeking the Lord with new eyes, having seen that He is not a Master to be served blindly in hopes of earning some small favor. Indeed, we do not labor to win His hand, but because He has already won our hearts. He is not a God to be approached with a cold and fearful duty, but a God whom one cannot help but fall in love with once the soul has glimpsed the height and depth of His indescribable love through the face of Christ.
Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.Psalms 100:3
