The Word Is Free

This coming Lord's Day, we shall depart from our customary practice of assembling within the confines of our house. We shall, with hearts full of expectation, cast wide the doors of our worship, transferring our sacred service to the open air for all the public to see, and so hold our very first Street Meeting. The great, overarching compassion of our Christ justly urges us forward, compelling us to carry His vital message of salvation unto whomsoever He shall graciously bring forth on that day, and to whom He shall grant ears to hear. That glorious redemption which once lifted us out of spiritual bondage and drew us to our Heavenly Father, we now bring forth, with all diligence, to those still languishing in the very same darkness wherein we ourselves once were.

Moreover, the Lord hath, in His overflowing kindness, opened a way and furnished the necessary means for us to procure a substantial stock of new Holy Bibles, containing both the Old and New Testaments. These precious volumes shall be distributed amongst the listeners, entirely without cost, at our public gatherings. We look, with fervent hope, to the LORD of all things, trusting that these books shall sovereignly find their way into the very hands for which they were appointed. The account of which we managed to acquire these copies was nothing short of a true miracle of providence, and we firmly believe that they shall prove to be a further miracle in the hands of the Almighty.
