2 Chronicles 15:7

Just in this present year, our beloved brother, a son in the faith, was brought through to the completion of his studies.  Under the heavy burden of financial need, he was hindered from taking the necessary examinations with his peers to obtain his license. They have moved on to acquire work, while he was left alone and unemployed. It was a heavy, sifting season for his soul. And though the timely help and sweet encouragement of the brethren kept him from sinking beneath the waves, his heart sought no earthly honor—he desired only to surrender his own plans and wait upon the Lord to reveal His sovereign purpose.

Just one short week ago, the Lord finally provided him with daily employment; one that kept him out upon the road from morning until evening. It was a door opened by Heaven itself. The nature of the work brought him into contact with scores of souls, and he was enabled to boldly share the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ to them all. His secular occupation became a mere side-matter, and the rescue of souls became his true, glorious calling. Oh, how truly does God give more than we can ever ask or imagine. And what higher, sweeter privilege can any mortal request on this side of eternity than to be used of God to tell poor, ruined sinners what great things Christ hath done for their salvation. To think this is only his first week. May the LORD uphold him for His glory.

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:15

Just sharing my experience today. So, I was able to go to work, and early in the morning I was already in Sta. Clara when my motorcycle broke down. I prayed, and it started up right away—I felt really encouraged. I’ve already talked to a lot of people and gave out gospel tracts; I've completely run out of them now. I spoke with a woman (I forgot her name) and was able to share with her as well.

And right now, I was able to talk to a garbage collector, an older man, and share the word with him. It was so heartening to hear his response when I asked, 'Tatay, if you were to die later, knowing Christ already paid for all your sins because you acknowledged and humbled yourself before Him as a sinner, where would you go? Will there be any sins left?' He got it right away and happily answered, 'None anymore, because Christ already redeemed them all.' His name is Sir Rudy.

Just sharing another heartening encounter today. This is Tatay Ramon. He was the one I asked for directions when I was looking for my client's house. Before I left the client's place, I gave him a Gospel tract, and afterward, we had a conversation about God. Tatay loves listening to Bible readings on the radio. He was uniquely joyful while we were talking about God, and he was happy to know that he will stand blameless because of Christ's redemption. Tatay was also so humble when hearing that he is a sinner and would perish if he were not in Christ. That's why he was so overjoyed to learn that he has been acquitted if he were to stand before God later today.

Around 3:00 in the afternoon, I got to speak with my client's mother, Delya. She is a Born-Again Christian, and you can clearly see the hardship they face in their current situation. Yet, she is full of joy and gratitude whenever the conversation turns to Christ. It brought her great comfort to be reminded that God never lets the birds go hungry—so how much more her, a human being who is far more valuable than a bird? She openly and lightheartedly admitted that she has sinned against God more times than can be counted. But then she learned that God can truly erase all of that. My final question to her was what her hope would be if she were to pass away later today, and she said that Christ is her hope.

I also had an encounter with a woman named Aurora. As soon as I approached her, she immediately shouted at me and was furious. But in the end, by God's mercy, He softened Nanay Aurora's heart, and we were able to talk about Christ. She felt a different kind of joy upon realizing that there is indeed hope after this life because of Christ. By the end, the woman who was initially angry called me her son ('anak') and repeatedly told me to take care.

Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word.
Acts 8:4

Those who truly possess Christ cannot help but share Christ. It is the very nature of divine life to overflow and impart life to others. Alas, most believers fall under the quiet delusion that such a work requires some extraordinary, special calling—but no, dear soul, it is not so. It requires only simple, loving obedience. The holy mandate to tell a perishing world of the Savior rests upon every single heart that follows Christ. And let us ever remember with weeping gratitude: this sweet witnessing is never, no never, the means by which we purchase our salvation, but the fragrant, blessed fruit of a soul already saved by grace.

Had we been left to follow our own earthly desires, we might indeed have secured a quiet, comfortable, and tranquil life in this world—yet alas. We would have been rendered utterly useless to the heavenly Kingdom, and eventually deprived of that matchless, eternal reward in the life to come. How truly good is the Lord unto those who cry out to Him for help in their temporal necessities; yet oh, how wondrously does our Heavenly Father pour out the whole treasury of heaven upon those precious souls who ask and labor solely for the advancement of His glorious Kingdom.

But Jesus.. said to him, “Go to your home and to your people and tell them what the Lord has done for you, that he had mercy on you.” So he went away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis what Jesus had done for him, and all were amazed.
Mark 5:19-20
