God Multiplies

Two days after our first outreach the LORD moved three dear fellow believers in the U.S. to send us help. In a touching gesture of kindness insisting that we prioritize purchasing the medication we need, and the rest, we were free to use as we please. Such a timely gift, as medicine for our son's epilepsy, was down to the last few tablets. God made sure we were enabled to buy two week's worth of medication. And finally, to accomplish our original plan to include some mothers in our church in the giveaways. But the very next day our local government distributed relief goods to the entire community (it does not include our area), which were more expensive than the meager items we planned to give. We admit having been disheartened when we saw how simple our packages were compared to what they received.

And so we opted to give only on a per need basis to our neighbors instead since the people on our side of the wall do not enjoy the same privileges as those who are registered in Bocaue. We were enabled to pack 17 rice packs before, but the LORD enlarged our packs to accommodate 22 families this time. At a time when we have nothing of ourselves to give. This time we were able to include New Testament bibles and Gospel tracts in each package. One family was so happy to find a bible inside the bag.

We apologized to each family for the simple items we were able to gather. It would perhaps feed a small family for three days. Their gratitude showed us the simple act was appreciated. We wish with all our hearts to be able to give more. But we would rather that the LORD use the Bible and tract inside to call them to Himself.

This was posted not to brag, for we really have nothing to brag about of ourselves. It was the LORD who sent, we merely bought and delivered. The LORD broke the bread, we simply gave to the people. For now, we have peace: God has given us the desires of our hearts. The LORD bless and multiply his mercy and grace in the lives of brother JG, and sisters SM, and MS. May the LORD's kingdom come. May His will be done.
