New Waters

Guiguinto was a part of Bulacan that was never in our intention to preach the gospel in. But the LORD brought us here to minister specifically to a few souls. He has noticeably opened unto us a door of interaction with the people, and talk with them on a personal level.

One such soul is this ex-pastor who was bitter, for his own reasons I do not wish to speculate on, who approached and stood before brother Jordan as he preached the word. He went to me, staggering drunk, and immediately opened up that he was a pastor. He enumerated all his achievements in the ministry, and how he was wronged by another pastor and because of that was forced to step down from ministry. He was very bitter. God in His mercy, enabled me to take away his legs from under all his boasting, and reminded him of the Lord's merciful invitation to all who are weary, to come to Him for rest.

Brother Jhet and Jordan also spoke with another religious minister (who was also drunk), who made a trivial game of all scripture that Jordan preached on, and identified the book title, the chapter, and verse, as he proclaimed the gospel in public. All knowledge and no Christ. A hollow and empty soul.

We will return to this place again, Lord willing.

The LORD send more laborers with the true gospel into His harvest.
